HAVE AN INSTALLATION QUESTION?
Check out our INSTALLATION VIDEOS.
Are pedal plates screwed in to the pedals?
No. Pedal plates are attached with a strong double sided adhesive.
What are the differences between the T series boards and the new lineup?
The main difference between the new lineup and the original T series boards is the introduction of the modular end panels. For players requiring more or less then the standard 2 jacks per side + power, the new lineup allows you to build your exact configuration from the ground up. By removing the frame fasteners and creating a one piece top sheet, the new lineup is even lighter and stronger then ever.
Can I remove the pedal plates?
Yes. Pedal plates are removable without damaging the surface of you pedal. DO NOT PRY! We recommend watching the video here for best removal results.
Can I reuse a pedal plate after I take it off another pedal?
Yes. Pedal plates are reusable. The adhesive is only good for one use but replacement pads can be purchased for a low cost.
Is there room to mount my power supply underneath?
Yes. All sizes of boards are designed to mount your power supply underneath.
What is the clearance under my Templeboard?
The clearance under your Templeboard is 1" at the the front (portion closest to guitarist) to 2" at the back. On top of that; the feet hold the board a 1/4" off the ground - giving you roughly 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" clearance.
What does my Templeboard come with?
Please refer to the included list in each product description to know whats included. The price listed for Templeboards on the website are for board only. Modules, cases, Pedal Plates, etc are all separate purchases.
What should I buy for pedal plates?
There are three sizes of plates. Small, Medium, and Large. For mini pedals, use small plates. For standard stomp boxes use medium. For larger pedals, multi effects units, etc use large plates. For volume, wah, and expression pedals, we recommend using a medium at the toe and a small at the heel. We always recommend having a few extra for those times when you just have to buy a new pedal!
Does my Temple board come with a power supply?
No. The power modules are to simply supply the connectivity from the pedalboard to your power supply.
I've read online that your boards flex. Do I need to worry about the board bending excessively or breaking?
Due to the fact that our boards are constructed out of lightweight aluminum there is a bit of natural flex. Some players have found this distracting (ie. when using a wah pedal) because the Templeboard has more give than they may be used to. For most artists it is a complete non-issue. There is no concern for the board breaking (even under alot of stomping) and you grow accustomed to the way the surface reacts to your foot. Once you have the surface full of pedals there's even less flex.
Can I order a custom color?
What are the Temple Mounting Brackets for?
The mounting brackets come standard on any boards 24" or longer. They eliminate some flare/flex and allow you to mount your power supply or small pedals on the bracket itself. You can purchase them separately for shorter boards or additional brackets on any board.
Yes, you can select custom color from the dropdown menu before adding a Templeboard to your cart. State in the order notes what color you would like (email photos to email@example.com if necessary). Custom colors are an additional $50 US and can add 3-4 weeks processing time.
Do you do custom lengths?
Yes, we can make custom lengths within our three standard widths: SOLO - 8.5", DUO - 12.5", TRIO - 16.5". We charge for the size above and cut down to the desired length. The closest we can do while keeping it symmetrical is to the nearest half inch. For instance, if you wanted a TRIO 34; we would charge you for a TRIO 43 and cut it down to 33.5" x 16.5" (or 34.5" x 16.5"). There is no additional fee for a custom length other than you pay for the material we cut off. State in the order notes what length you would like it cut down to. Custom lengths can add 1-3 weeks on processing time.
